SENIORS ON THE MOVE

QUALITY PROGRAMMING FOR OLDER ADULTS

May Dugan Center Seniors on the Move empowers older adults to stay active and engaged in their community.  Our goal is to provide resources to help manage financial, physical, and emotional well-being while deepening the social connections that support aging in place.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Seniors on the Move Program was launched in 2015 to provide socialization for older adults and share guidance on issues that affect their lives, including wellness information, workshops, health screenings, and outings.  Over time, the program has grown to include learning opportunities in technology and creative arts, field trips, and speakers on topics of interest to program participants.

Our in-person sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  On Wednesdays, we have virtual program sessions on Zoom from 11 to noon.

In-person activities include outings to area attractions and events, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland Museum of Art, Playhouse Square, and Guardians games.  On Wednesdays, we play games, discuss events of interest to our community, and learn from experts on aging in our virtual sessions.

Watch the group enjoy an outdoor celebration with entertainment provided by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Joy Ride.
