ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Refugee Services Program at the May Dugan Center is a US State Department Reception and Placement Program. The May Dugan Center will be intensively working with Refugee Families from their first day in the United States through their first few months in Cleveland. During that time, MDC will be assisting with securing safe housing, connecting Refugees to medical providers and benefits, and assisting them with securing Jobs for their ongoing financial stability.

Following the initial inventive resettlement period, Refugee Families will be able to benefit from the other programs and services of the May Dugan Center including: English classes, Food Assistance, Behavioral Health Counseling, and Workforce Development.

The May Dugan Center has been working with Refugee Families for many years and is excited to deepen our work with this community.

HOW TO SUPPORT

The families that the May Dugan Center is assisting will be in need of items ranging from clothes, to furniture, to community support. In addition, the May Dugan Center will need assistance from volunteers to help set up homes for arriving families.
